This was originally intended to be the very last Dubtribe recording. Things were hard, and we were sad. I wrote this song for my best friend, partner, and wife in hopes of reminding us both of what were were doing, and why. It was originally released on clear vinyl, a single sided 12" single and extremely limited. They sold in about an hour, and we were pressured to make more. So we made a few thousand more on black vinyl. They sold in a day. So we went back into the studio together and wrote 'Baggage' - the first and only album we made which was about us, the two of us, instead of about all of us. It would be the final Dubtribe Sound System full length album. And this single, the last sincere transformation of our style and fashion.

A lot of people have stolen this song. One well known artists working for Sony/DFA swiped the whole intro and had his singer sing over the top of it (and then asked us to remix it) because they assumed it was just a re edit of another song. It's not. There's a 2.5 second vocal sample in the chorus (used with blessings and permission), and that's the only sample used on this recording.
